Table Mountain Loop
The Table Mountain Loop is a road bike route that offers up between 50-60 miles of rolling terrain with a few significant climbs from Chico, or a shorter ride if you start and end in Oroville. The central feature of the ride is the climb up to the beautiful tabletop plateau of Table Mountain.
From Chico, many cyclists will take the Midway Bike Path to the Oroville-Chico Highway and then out Pentz Rd. to Highway 70. After less than a mile traveling uphill on Highway 70, cyclists will turn onto Cherokee Rd. and ascend Table Mountain, where the ride flattens out.
