Located in Upper Bidwell Park, the Yahi Trail is a popular 8.8-mile well-trafficked out-and-back trail. The path mostly follows Big Chico Creek, has lots of shade, and features beautiful wild flowers in the spring, particularly late March.
The pedestrian-only trail offers multiple entry points with parking lots near lots of them, making it an ideal trail for all skill levels. You'll also enjoy a variety of micro-environments, including shady sycamores along the creek, bright sun over the Lovejoy basal, oak woodland, and more.
Bring the whole family and enjoy a day through some of the most beautiful parts of Bidwell Park. Dogs on leashes allowed.
