Tucked away in the Sierra Nevada foothills, Lake Concow offers a peaceful, off-the-beaten-path escape for a day trip or weekend gathering. Visitors can enjoy wide-open foothill views, starry night skies, or look for seasonal spring wildflowers blooming across more than 80 acres of open wilderness.
Water Protections
To protect the local environment and water supply, hunting, swimming, fishing, and all forms of boating — including kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards — are strictly prohibited on the reservoir.

Lakeside recreation at Lake Concow is experienced entirely from the shore. Two designated public access sites serve as peaceful vantage points for photography, birdwatching, or simply taking in the open valley vistas.
