Book Fam­i­ly Farm offers a hands-on look at every­day farm life.

Beyond search­ing the pump­kin patch for the per­fect gourd, kids can gath­er fresh eggs, feed the res­i­dent chick­ens, and learn how to milk a cow. And a sim­ple hay maze pro­vides low-stress fun for younger chil­dren look­ing to explore at their own pace.

Max’s Mir­a­cle Ranch

Admis­sion: $7, which includes unlim­it­ed train rides and access to the bounce house

Designed with young chil­dren in mind, Max’s Mir­a­cle Ranch com­bines a clas­sic patch with cheer­ful out­door enter­tain­ment.

Vis­i­tors can pick fresh apples, spend time in the bounce house, or hop aboard the cus­tom kid-sized train for a scenic loop around the entire property.

Patrick Ranch Museum

Dur­ing its annu­al Autumn Fest, the his­toric Patrick Ranch Muse­um cel­e­brates North­ern Cal­i­for­ni­a’s agri­cul­tur­al heritage.

Admis­sion includes access to the pick-your-own pump­kin patch, where you can hunt through 15 vari­eties for the per­fect addi­tion to your fall dec­o­ra­tions. You can also enjoy trac­tor-drawn hayrides, a small pet­ting zoo, chil­dren’s craft activ­i­ties, and guid­ed tours of the his­toric Glen­wood Farm House.

Come on open­ing week­end as the Patrick Ranch Muse­um part­ners with Divine Sun­days for an extra big kick­off to the season.

TJ Farms Estates grows more than a dozen vari­eties of pump­kins, from clas­sic Cin­derel­la pump­kins to chic white pump­kins to our per­son­al favorite warty pumpkin.

Choose from a wide selec­tion of pre-cut pump­kins or bor­row shears to cut your pick straight from the vine. You can also enjoy fam­i­ly wag­on rides, vin­tage trac­tors for pho­tos, and open play areas with hay bales.
