Butte Coun­ty has a deep agri­cul­tur­al his­to­ry, and there’s no place bet­ter to appre­ci­ate it than at the Chico Cer­ti­fied Farm­ers Market.

The Chico Cer­ti­fied Farm­ers Mar­ket (CCFM) hosts two year-round and one sea­son­al farm­ers mar­kets where you can get fresh and in-sea­son local­ly grown fruit and veg­eta­bles as well as nuts, hon­ey, olive oil, rice, meats, eggs, herbs, flow­ers, plants, and fresh-baked arti­san breads as well as dis­cov­er a vari­ety of local vendors.

Sat­ur­day Market

7:30am-1pm at E 2nd St & Wall St., Year-round

Per­haps the most well-known of the three, the Chico Sat­ur­day Farm­ers Mar­ket is the place to see and be seen. When the weath­er is nice, it can feel like the whole city of Chico is at the mar­ket pick­ing up in-sea­son favorites, savor­ing local cof­fee, or just enjoy­ing a stroll and run­ning into friends.

Here, you can also enjoy pre­pared foods and drinks from area favorites such as Near and Dear Baked Goods , Chico Chai , Beber Almond Milk , Live Life Juice Co., Guzzetti’s Indi­an Food , and more. Local ven­dors sell­ing a vari­ety of hand­i­crafts along with local per­form­ers (keep an eye out for the Chico Bal­loon Man) com­plete the experience.

With its loca­tion right next to Down­town Chico, the Sat­ur­day Mar­ket is the per­fect start­ing point to any Chico week­end adventures.

Wednes­day Market

7:30am-1pm at North Val­ley Plaza Mall Park­ing Lot, Year-round

For a more mel­low mar­ket expe­ri­ence, the Chico Wednes­day farm­ers mar­ket is the place for you. Small­er than its Sat­ur­day coun­ter­part, you’ll nev­er­the­less find a robust selec­tion of fresh pro­duce and oth­er local­ly grown goods as well as local vendors.

CCFM also hosts a hol­i­day craft fair in Novem­ber and Decem­ber at the Wednes­day mar­ket, per­fect for unique gifts for every mem­ber of the family.

Sun­day Market

June through Octo­ber, 9am-Noon, Farm­ers Brew­ing Restau­rant and Tap­room Park­ing Lot

From June through Octo­ber, head to Meri­am Park for a Sun­day sea­son­al Sun­day mar­ket from 9am-Noon, where you’ll enjoy the same fresh pro­duce and local­ly grown goods that are found at the Sat­ur­day and Wednes­day markets.
