The Essential Guide to the Chico Certified Farmers' Market
Butte County has a deep agricultural history, and there’s no place better to appreciate it than at the Chico Certified Farmers’ Market.
The Chico Certified Farmers’ Market (CCFM) hosts two year-round and one seasonal farmers markets where you can get fresh and in-season locally grown fruit and vegetables as well as nuts, honey, olive oil, rice, meats, eggs, herbs, flowers, plants, and fresh-baked artisan breads as well as discover a variety of local vendors.
7:30am-1pm at E 2nd St & Wall St., Year-round
Perhaps the most well-known of the three, the Chico Saturday Farmers’ Market is the place to see and be seen. When the weather is nice, it can feel like the whole city of Chico is at the market picking up in-season favorites, savoring local coffee, or just enjoying a stroll and running into friends.
Here, you can also enjoy prepared foods and drinks from area favorites such as Near and Dear Baked Goods, Chico Chai, Beber Almond Milk, Live Life Juice Co., Guzzetti’s Indian Food, and more. Local vendors selling a variety of handicrafts along with local performers (keep an eye out for the Chico Balloon Man) complete the experience.
With its location right next to Downtown Chico, the Saturday Market is the perfect starting point to any Chico weekend adventures.

For a more mellow market experience, the Chico Wednesday farmers’ market is the place for you. Smaller than its Saturday counterpart, you’ll nevertheless find a robust selection of fresh produce and other locally grown goods as well as local vendors.
CCFM also hosts a holiday craft fair in November and December at the Wednesday market, perfect for unique gifts for every member of the family.

From June through October, head to Meriam Park for a seasonal Sunday market from 9am-Noon, where you’ll enjoy the same fresh produce and locally grown goods that are found at the Saturday and Wednesday markets.
