2020 Shasta Cascade Tourism Summit Field Trips

Option #1 - Wildflowers and Waterfalls

Description: See two of Butte County's most popular attractions with an educational guided tour through Table Mountain and Phantom Falls. Explore thousands of blooming wildflowers and a dozen seasonal waterfalls, including the ephemeral Phantom Falls.

During the drive from Chico, you'll learn about other attractions along the way. Enjoy a provided bagged lunch at Table Mountain.

Cost: $35; includes round-trip shuttle from Chico to Table Mountain.

Time: Shuttle leaves at 8am and returns around 1pm

Additional Details: Come dressed and prepared for an approximately 2-hour hike, including sturdy closed-toe shoes, a water bottle, sunscreen, and allergy medication. Lunch is included in the price; please indicate any dietary restrictions.

Option #2 - Tours & Brews

Description: Enjoy walking tours through two of Chico's most iconic locations--the California State University, Chico campus and Sierra Nevada Brewery. Start the morning with a guided campus tour followed by a tour of Sierra Nevada's state-of-the-art facilities (plus beer tastings!). Sit down for lunch in the Taproom before returning to Downtown Chico, where you'll be free to shop and explore on your own before the Tourism Summit.

Cost: $35; includes round-trip shuttle from Downtown Chico to Sierra Nevada Brewing Company.

Time: Shuttle leaves at 8am and returns around 1pm
