2020 Shasta Cascade Tourism Summit Field Trips

Descrip­tion: See two of Butte Coun­ty’s most pop­u­lar attrac­tions with an edu­ca­tion­al guid­ed tour through Table Moun­tain and Phan­tom Falls. Explore thou­sands of bloom­ing wild­flow­ers and a dozen sea­son­al water­falls, includ­ing the ephemer­al Phan­tom Falls.

Dur­ing the dri­ve from Chico, you’ll learn about oth­er attrac­tions along the way. Enjoy a pro­vid­ed bagged lunch at Table Mountain.

Cost: $35; includes round-trip shut­tle from Chico to Table Mountain.

Time: Shut­tle leaves at 8am and returns around 1pm

Addi­tion­al Details: Come dressed and pre­pared for an approx­i­mate­ly 2‑hour hike, includ­ing stur­dy closed-toe shoes, a water bot­tle, sun­screen, and aller­gy med­ica­tion. Lunch is includ­ed in the price; please indi­cate any dietary restrictions.

Descrip­tion: Enjoy walk­ing tours through two of Chico’s most icon­ic loca­tions – the Cal­i­for­nia State Uni­ver­si­ty, Chico cam­pus and Sier­ra Neva­da Brew­ery. Start the morn­ing with a guid­ed cam­pus tour fol­lowed by a tour of Sier­ra Nevada’s state-of-the-art facil­i­ties (plus beer tast­ings!). Sit down for lunch in the Tap­room before return­ing to Down­town Chico, where you’ll be free to shop and explore on your own before the Tourism Summit.
