Explore Butte County is your host for Butte County Museum Weekend, February 27 & 28, 2021. Join us ONLINE for FREE Virtual Events all weekend.

Butte County boasts dozens of museums, galleries and theatres. While all have closed to the public due to COVID, many have created new and exciting content so visitors can still experience these gems virtually. We invite you to enjoy their virtual offerings during Butte County Museum Weekend!

What is Butte County Museum Weekend?

Butte County Museum Weekend is an event created to promote and celebrate history, art, and culture through our extensive network of museums and cultural centers. Museums, galleries, and other cultural destinations across the county will be showcasing their virtual programs during the 2nd annual event.

How much is admission?

The virtual event is free, though some museums may offer live events that require registration and/or charge an admission fee.
