Dog Creek Cellars

A Cal­i­for­nia Cer­ti­fied Organ­ic Farm since 1990, Cline Organ­ics has been ded­i­cat­ed to organ­ic and bio­dy­nam­ic farm­ing prac­tices for more than twen­ty years. Locat­ed in Durham, the vine­yard is in the heart of a farm­ing com­mu­ni­ty known for its rich and fer­tile soil.

Owned and oper­at­ed by Neal and Judy Cline, this bou­tique win­ery opened its doors in 2011. Dog Creek Cel­lars pro­duces Pinot Gri­gio, San­giovese and Zin­fan­del — all organ­ic — and grown on the Durham prop­er­ty. The grapes are har­vest­ed and sort­ed by hand, then crushed, fer­ment­ed and watched dili­gent­ly by the fam­i­ly (and the vine­yard dogs). The tast­ing room is open the first Sun­day of every month from 12 – 5 pm or by appointment.
