Chico Community Observatory

The Chico Community Observatory provides the public with access to telescopes and the wonders of the night sky.

It's a place where you can explore the universe first-hand, free of charge, and learn about the planets, stars, space exploration, and upcoming celestial events.

Owned and operated by Chico Community Observatory, Inc. a 501c (3) non profit corporation, the observatory is open to the public year round. Note that from April to September, opening hours are Friday to Sunday from 8pm to 11pm. From October to March, they are open Friday through Sunday from 6pm to 9pm.
