The Chico Community Observatory provides the public with access to telescopes and the wonders of the night sky.

It's a place where you can explore the universe first-hand, free of charge, and learn about the planets, stars, space exploration, and upcoming celestial events.

Owned and operated by Chico Community Observatory, Inc. a 501c (3) non profit corporation, the observatory is open to the public year round.

HOURS

  • April to September: Friday to Sunday from 8pm to 11pm.
  • October to March: Friday through Sunday from 6pm to 9pm.
