Getting Here

Butte County is 2.5 hours from the Bay Area and 1 hour and 15 minutes from Sacramento, easily accessible on Highway 99 and Highway 70. It is also a morning’s drive from Redding and foothill towns throughout the Sierra Nevada and Central Valley.

  • 3. Cut over to Highway 99 North, which leads you into Butte County.

Butte County is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Sacramento International Airport, and approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes from San Francisco International Airport and Reno-Tahoe International Airport. The Chico Municipal Airport and Oroville Municipal Airport are both general aviation airports with no commercial air service.
